Police Colonel Nyunt Wai

As head of cybercrime unit, Police Colonel Nyunt Wai leads and oversees the department in activities such as inspecting electronic evidence throughout Myanmar and providing expert advice on litigation related to cybercrime, collaborating with IT experts and NGOs, cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and Communications on cybersecurity, cooperation with international police forces and working with other ASEAN countries in dealing with international cybercrime. Colonel Nyunt Wai holds a Bachelor of Science (Defense Services Academy) and a Master of Arts (Defense Studies).

U Htin Aung Hlaing

Htin has been in the leading high performing technology teams of Silicon Valley for over 25 years holding Engineering leadership positions in various Silicon Valley, USA companies including Metabiota, SugarSync, Flurry, Digimarc and Attributor. With his passion in digital transformation for people life betterment especially in underserved communities, we drove the team at scale through agile development, big data and multi cloud adoption.

Prior to joining Wave Money, Htin served as CTO for Ascend Commerce, part of CP Group in Thailand. In this role, Htin directed the large multi-disciplinary technology team with multi-business units of Ascend Commerce, building both B2C and B2B commerce solutions.

Htin has been a long-time board member of Phandeeyar Innovation Labs in Myanmar since 2015 as well and he is now full time back in Myanmar and serving for the people and the country he loves.

Htin was born and raised in Myanmar before pursuing education and career development in the U.S. He holds Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from University of California, Irvine and Master of Science degree in Software Management from Carnegie Mellon University.

U Aung Kyaw Soe

With over a decade experience with Technical management, Systems , Network and Security in Telco and ISP, U Aung Kyaw Soe currently serves as COO and Director at various Telco companies in Myanmar – he is COO at Myanmar Skypay ltd., CIO at Teleglobal Co.ltd. And Director at 3Plink Co.ltd. Moreover, he also serves as Joint Secretary of Mandalay e-Government Steering Committee and is an executive committee member of Myanmar Computer Federation (MCF).

U Aung Kyaw Soe graduated from the University of Computer Studies, Yangon and has 18 years of experience as a Network & Linux professional in  Myanmar’s First ISP and Multinational Companies in Singapore from 2002 to 2014. From 2015 to present, he leads a Setup Turnkey Solution provider company in Myanmar Telecom industry and is in acting Strategic Management Level in various companies which are running VAS player in Myanmar telecom market.

Prior to his career, he was graduated with a degree in B.C.I.S (Computing and Information System) from London Metropolitan University (UK). U Mike Phone Myint

Mike Phone Myint joined BIM Group as Group Executive Director and currently leads BIM Consulting and BIM Cybersecurity as Managing Director. He was previously with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Myanmar and led Digital Trust and Transformation Assurance Business Units within the firm as the Chief Digital Officer. He is a Myanmar repatriate and a seasoned technology executive with over 17 years of experience in digital and cybersecurity strategy, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), cybersecurity policies and implementations, telecommunications and internet service providers, banking and financial services as well as extensive project management and implementation both locally andinternationally.

As a certified Board Director with Myanmar Institute of Directors (MIoD) he advises various businesses with Digital Technology Roadmap and Strategy, His primary focus is to help public and private enterprises to emerge through the digital transformation initiatives while ensuring the potential risks are properly managed. He serves as Honorary Treasurer for British Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar and co-founded and currently serving as Honorary Secretary for Myanmar Information Security Association (MISA). Mike holds various Corporate Governance, Information Security and Risk Management certifications from ISACA and ISC2 which includes CGEIT, CRISC, CISM, CISA, CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP and PMP. Mike received Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from University of Computer Studies, Yangon (UCSY). Mike also obtained Executive Certificate in Disruptive Strategy from HBX | Harvard Business School, Executive Certificate in Business
